Contraindications / Medical and skin conditions

• Skin cancer: people who have or have had skin cancer in the area to be treated are generally not good candidates.
• Autoimmune diseases: some autoimmune diseases can be a contraindication. It is important to discuss your medical history with the practitioner.
• Blood clotting problems: clotting disorders or anticoagulant medication can increase the risk of bruising.
• Allergies: a known allergy to collagen or silk proteins is an absolute contraindication.

Other contraindications
